Melitta CI Touch

I've had the CI Touch for well over a month now. According to the machines statistics info, I've made +450 coffees which were predominantly Cappucinos but also a number of straight espresso's. Overall I'm very pleased with the unit. I'm not a coffee tosser however I think the coffees it makes are as good as I can get at any commercial cafe. The controls are relatively easy to use to program my preferences to my cup sizes. The volume delivery is extremely consistent each cup and after a bit of research on the net and some control adjustments the temperatures are spot on.
The only cons I would mentions are
- The milk line connection to the jug / drip tray is a very poor design in that it is very difficult to positively grab when removing it from the milk jug or drip tray as it gets slippery with milk drips. I usually need to wrap it with a cloth to get a proper grip on it. This could easily be fixed with a bigger connector nipple.
- It takes some time to make a single coffee. This is not a problem for me but if I was an entertainer and had say half a dozen people over, the last person to be served a coffee would be waiting a while.
Overall so far I think the CI Touch was a good buy.
