Does the trick

Because the Precision grinder doesn’t measure that grounds, the dosing ring is helpful in determining the quantity of each grind

when I received the grinder, i was a bit dubious because there was grinds all through the internals. Di Pacci responded very promptly to say this was duet to their testing. it is good to see that they have since updated the website to explain this. i also noted that the label machine states it is a 150 W motor (not 250 W as was previously advertised, but since updated), and a 60mm Burr (not 80mm as it is still advertised, at the time of writing).
