How long is the barista training course?

Group and 1-on-1 barista classes run for 3.5 hours, all hands-on with commercial espresso machines. The accredited SITHFAB025 course combines online theory with in-person practical training. Advanced latte art coaching is a focused session at our Sydney training centre.

What will I learn in the barista training course?

You'll learn espresso extraction fundamentals, coffee machine operation and maintenance, grinder adjustment, milk texturing for lattes, cappuccinos and flat whites, café workflow and efficiency, coffee quality control, and cleaning and hygiene best practices. Latte art foundations are introduced in group classes and developed in 1-on-1 and advanced sessions.
