Synesso has built commercial espresso machines by hand in Seattle, USA since 2004 — founded specifically to solve the temperature stability problems that plagued commercial espresso at the time. Every Synesso machine is built one at a time by artisans using steel frames, group tops, trays, and steam tanks — an approach that produces a level of build quality and consistency that mass-produced machines cannot replicate. The signature feature across all Synesso machines is the independent brew boiler per group head — each group has its own dedicated PID-controlled boiler, meaning brew temperature is completely isolated between groups. Run an espresso blend on one group and a single origin on another at different temperatures simultaneously, with zero thermal cross-contamination.
