Espresso grind was too coarse

I purchased my ECM coffee machine from di Pacci a month or so ago, and was given a sample of Elements Blend (which was freshly ground while I was there) to try and loved it.
When I ordered the ground 1kg bag online, the grind was too coarse for my machine although I did order Espresso grind. Loved the original sample coffee, but this coarser grind means the coffee runs thru too fast and consequently there is no crema and the coffee is watery. I'd bring it back to the store but live too far away. Perhaps I was accidentally sent the wrong bag?
