The X54 Allround is that engineering scaled down for the kitchen bench: 54 mm German-made flat steel burrs, stepless grind adjustment, and one dial that takes you from fine espresso through to cold brew.

This is a demonstration unit in as-new condition, used on our showroom bench for roughly two to three weeks. It's finished in black and fitted with the genuine Mahlkönig Original Walnut Timber Kit — the warm walnut components you can see in the product photographs, which lift the X54 from a good-looking appliance to something you'll happily leave on display.

What does "demo unit" mean here?

It means the grinder was used on our showroom bench for demonstrations rather than sold new. This one saw roughly two to three weeks of that use and presents as new. It has been cleaned, checked and test-ground by our technicians before being listed.

Is the X54 good enough for espresso?

Yes. The 54 mm flat steel burrs and stepless adjustment give you the fine control espresso needs — you can move grind size in tiny increments rather than jumping between fixed clicks. It's one of the most capable all-purpose grinders at its size for espresso work.

Can I use it for filter and plunger as well?

That's the point of the Allround scale. The same dial covers pour over, plunger, moka pot and cold brew, and the swappable front lets you dose into a catch cup instead of a portafilter. Most owners run espresso and filter from the one grinder.

What is the Original Walnut Timber Kit?

It's the genuine Mahlkönig walnut accessory kit for the X54, fitted to this unit — real timber components rather than a third-party imitation, so the fit and finish match the grinder exactly. What's fitted is shown in the product photographs.

What warranty applies to demo stock?

How noisy is it?

Mahlkönig rates the X54 below 70 dB(A), which is quiet for a flat burr grinder. It won't wake the house at 6am the way a cheap blade or high-speed grinder will, though it is not silent.

Can I see it before I buy?

Customer Error Returns:
We are able to return the product for a refund if the packaging remains intact and the item has not been unboxed. Kindly notify us within 14 days of the date of delivery.
