Recommended Brew Parameters

Starting points for each brew method. Beans are supplied whole, so he'll need a grinder — adjust from here to taste.

  • Espresso: 18–20g dose in a double basket, 36–40g in the cup, 26–32 seconds, water at 92–94°C
  • Plunger / French press: 60g per litre, coarse grind, 4 minutes steeping, water just off the boil
  • Moka pot: fine-ish grind, basket filled level and not tamped, medium heat, off the stove as soon as it gurgles

Customer Error Returns:
We are able to return the product for a refund if the packaging remains intact and the item has not been unboxed. Kindly notify us within 14 days of the date of delivery. If your item is unused and unboxed, we can issue a refund, minus a restocking & handling fee of 30% of the invoiced value, provided that we are notified within 14 days of the delivery date. The product must be returned at store or shipped by customer at their own cost.
