Ditting KFA1203 Coffee Grinder

The Ditting KFA1203 is a Swiss shop grinder that grinds a 1 kg bag in well under a minute, at any setting from espresso to plunger.

The Ditting KFA1203 uses 120 mm special steel burrs on a single-phase motor of 1,100 to 1,600 W, grinding at roughly 23 g per second (about 1.4 kg a minute) from a hopper that holds around 1.1 kg. Grind size is set on a stepless dial, so you can match any brew method a customer asks for.

It's built for the counter of a roastery, deli or busy coffee shop that grinds beans to order. A knocker clears grounds from the spout between bags, and a bag shaker settles the grounds evenly as the bag fills. Ditting's discs are made from hard-wearing steel and, looked after properly, can be resharpened. It runs on single-phase power, so it suits shops without a three-phase supply.
