Why Lelit?
Italian Engineering — Honest Pricing — A Machine for Every Stage Lelit has been manufacturing espresso equipment in Milan since 1991. The brand has built a reputation for something very few Italian manufacturers can claim: genuinely professional-grade performance at prices that don't require a second mortgage. Every machine in the Lelit lineup uses the same LCC OLED management system, the same 58mm commercial-standard group head architecture, and the same Italian build quality — what changes between models is the boiler configuration, feature set, and workflow complexity. Di Pacci is Australia's authorised Lelit dealer and stocks the full range across five stores. This guide is written from that experience, not from manufacturer materials — we'll tell you honestly which machine suits which buyer and where the real trade-offs are.

Lelit Anna PL41TEM coffee machine — Di Pacci Australia
🔥 Single Boiler 🌡️ PID ⚙️ Lelit58 Group 💧 Pre-Infusion 🔧 3-Way Solenoid 🇮🇹 Made in Italy

The Anna PL41TEM is where most Lelit journeys begin. A compact single-boiler machine with PID temperature control — making it one of the best-specced entry-level espresso machines available in Australia. The PID sets the Anna apart from most machines at this price: you are brewing at a precisely controlled temperature from the first shot. The Lelit58 commercial group head — the same 58mm architecture found throughout the entire range — means your Anna accepts every 58mm accessory, basket, and portafilter used on the Bianca. Skills and equipment transfer directly if you upgrade later. The 3-way solenoid valve keeps pucks dry and enables backflushing — not standard at this price.

The Anna does require waiting between brewing and steaming. For a household making one or two coffees in the morning, predominantly black or with occasional milk, this is rarely a friction point. For back-to-back latte households, the Victoria or Elizabeth suits better.

🔥 Single Boiler 🌡️ PID LCC OLED ⚡ Fast Warm-up ~6 min ⚙️ Lelit58 Group 💧 Programmable Pre-Infusion 🇮🇹 Made in Italy

Di Pacci's most recommended first prosumer machine. The Victoria warms up from cold in ~6 minutes — genuinely fast for this calibre — produces excellent espresso from a 58mm commercial group with full LCC PID control, and operates simply enough to learn on without frustrating limitations. The LCC OLED display shows brew temperature, steam temperature, hot water temperature, and shot time countdown simultaneously. Programmable pre-infusion and a 3-way solenoid are standard. The Coffee Slide portafilter spout lays flat on the bench during tamping — no tamping mat needed.

Where the Victoria asks for patience is milk drinks. Being a single boiler, you brew first, then wait about 60 seconds for steam. For 1–3 milk drinks per session this adds very little time. For households making multiple back-to-back flat whites daily, the Elizabeth is more practical.

⚙️ Built-in 38mm Grinder 🔥 Single Boiler 🌡️ PID LCC 📊 Backlit Manometer 💧 Pre-Infusion 🇮🇹 Made in Italy

Lelit's flagship all-in-one machine — a fully capable espresso machine with a built-in 38mm conical burr grinder in a single stainless steel unit. For buyers who want quality espresso from fresh beans in the smallest possible bench footprint, without managing a separate grinder, the Kate is the most streamlined Lelit available. The integrated grinder doses directly into the 58mm portafilter with programmable grind time for one or two doses via the LCC. Full PID temperature control, 3-way solenoid, programmable pre-infusion, and a backlit manometer for real-time extraction pressure monitoring.

The honest trade-off: the built-in 38mm conical grinder, while good for its size, cannot match the grind consistency of a dedicated standalone grinder. And because grinder and machine are integrated, you cannot upgrade one without replacing the whole unit. For buyers planning to grow their equipment over time, the Victoria or Elizabeth with a standalone grinder offers more flexibility.

Lelit MaraX PL62X coffee machine — Di Pacci Australia
🔥 HX 1.8L 🎛️ Dual-Probe Temp ☕ Brew+Steam Simultaneous 📊 Dual Manometers 22cm Wide 🇮🇹 Made in Italy

The MaraX occupies a unique position in the Lelit range — the world's most compact E61 heat exchanger machine, and the only HX machine with a patented dual-probe temperature system. Traditional HX machines require "temperature surfing" — flushing water through the group before each shot to stabilise brew temperature. The MaraX's dual probes monitor both boiler and brew water simultaneously, adjusting the heating element twice per second to maintain brew water within 2°C of target without flushing. This means shot-to-shot temperature consistency that rivals dual-boiler machines, in a 22cm-wide body.

The L58E E61 group head with mechanical pre-infusion, dual manometers, two priority modes (Brew Mode for precision, Steam Mode for high-volume milk), and the full LCC OLED interface make this one of the most capable machines at its price. Simultaneous brewing and steaming is possible via the heat exchanger design. Read our full Lelit MaraX review →

Lelit Elizabeth PL92T dual boiler coffee machine — Di Pacci Australia
♻️ Dual Boiler 🌡️ Dual PID Independent ☕ Simultaneous Brew+Steam ⏱️ Volumetric Shot Timer 💧 Programmable Pre-Infusion 🇮🇹 Made in Italy

In Di Pacci's view, the most compelling value proposition in the prosumer espresso machine market. Dual stainless steel boilers — 300ml brew, 600ml steam — with completely independent dual PID control, programmable volumetric dosing, built-in shot timer, mechanical pre-infusion, and simultaneous brew and steam, all significantly below ECM, Profitec, or La Marzocco equivalents with the same dual-boiler configuration. The Elizabeth generates 2 bar of steam pressure — exceptional for a machine this compact — producing dense, stable microfoam for latte art and velvety flat whites. Set your brew boiler to 93°C for dark roast and dial it down to 89°C for a light-roast single-origin without waiting for a single boiler to cycle. 2.5L water reservoir reduces refill frequency.

🎟️ Flow Control Paddle ♻️ Dual Boiler 🔇 Silent Rotary Pump ⚙️ L58E E61 Group 📱 Electronic Low Flow (V3) 🔔 Plumb-In Capable

The pinnacle of the Lelit home range — and one of the most celebrated prosumer espresso machines in the world. Where every other Lelit machine manages temperature, the Bianca goes further: it gives you manual control over flow rate and pressure through the coffee puck during extraction via a walnut wood paddle on the L58E group head. This is pressure profiling — creating, adjusting, and repeating custom extraction curves not possible on conventional machines. Dual stainless steel boilers (1.5L brew, 0.6L steam), silent rotary pump, dual independent PID (±0.5°C), and dual manometers. The V3 update added electronic Low Flow mode (programmable pre-infusion via LCC), faster heat-up (~12–15 min), 4 energy management modes, and longer steam wands. Available in Stainless ($4,799), Black/White/Gold Maple ($4,999). Can plumb directly to a water line.

Ownership Guide — Getting the Most from Your Lelit
⚙️ Grinder — Most Important Decision

Every Lelit (except the Kate) requires a separate grinder — and the grinder is the single most impactful variable in espresso quality. A Victoria paired with a quality grinder outperforms any machine paired with a poor one. Di Pacci offers grinder-and-machine bundles at better value than buying separately — ask about current package pricing when you enquire.

💧 Water Quality — Protect Your Boiler

Limescale is the most common cause of early boiler failure in Australian machines. Lelit recommends filtered water or a softener — and includes a filter in the box. Di Pacci recommends an inline water filter, particularly in hard-water areas (most of coastal Australia). The cost of a filter cartridge is a fraction of a boiler descale. All Lelit machines include a water quality indicator in the LCC — use it.

Warm-Up — Don't Rush

All Lelit machines benefit from full warm-up before the first shot. Victoria is ready in ~6 minutes; Elizabeth and Bianca benefit from 15 minutes for both boilers to stabilise. Pulling a shot too early — before the group head has fully thermostabilised — produces a noticeably worse result. The Bianca V3's improved NTC system meaningfully reduces this wait compared to V2.

Frequently Asked Questions
The Lelit Victoria PL91T is Di Pacci's most recommended starting point — PID, 58mm commercial group, fast ~6 min warm-up, and a simple enough workflow to learn on. The Anna PL41TEM is the more affordable entry if budget is the primary concern. The Kate PL82T is best for those who want a single compact unit with a built-in grinder and no separate equipment to manage.
The Elizabeth PL92T uses dual boilers — one dedicated to brew, one to steam — with completely independent PID temperature control. It is the more precise option for espresso-focused users and for regularly switching between roast temperatures. The MaraX PL62X uses a single heat-exchange boiler with the patented dual-probe thermosyphon system — more compact, eliminates the HX flushing ritual. Both allow simultaneous brewing and steaming. The Elizabeth is better for dual-boiler precision; the MaraX is more compact at 22.5cm wide. For buyers who primarily make milk drinks and want dual-function, Di Pacci recommends the Elizabeth if budget allows.
Yes — for all Lelit models except the Kate PL82T which has a built-in grinder. This is not a limitation; it is a design philosophy that produces better results. A dedicated standalone grinder consistently outperforms an integrated one at the same total price. Di Pacci offers machine-and-grinder bundles pairing Lelit machines with Niche Zero, Eureka Mignon, Mazzer Mini, and other grinders at combined prices that save money versus buying separately. Call (02) 9758 0760 for current bundle pricing.
The Bianca V3 is worth the premium specifically if you want pressure and flow profiling — manually controlling the extraction curve via the walnut paddle. If you want maximum consistency and repeatability without hands-on paddle management, the Elizabeth's programmable volumetric dosing and dual-boiler precision will serve you equally well or better for everyday use. The Bianca rewards users who treat espresso as an ongoing experiment; the Elizabeth rewards those who want consistently excellent, hands-off results.
With proper maintenance — regular backflushing, correct water filtration, periodic seal replacement, and occasional descaling — Lelit machines are built to last 10–15+ years of daily home use. The stainless steel boilers, commercial-standard group heads, and accessible internal components mean most wear items (seals, solenoid valves, pump) can be replaced independently rather than requiring full machine replacement. Di Pacci services and repairs Lelit machines in-house and stocks genuine parts in Australia.
The LCC (Lelit Control Center) is Lelit's OLED management display — showing brew temperature, steam temperature, shot countdown timer, and water level warning simultaneously. It allows you to adjust all settings, activate pre-infusion, set standby, and trigger the automatic washing cycle from the front panel. Yes — every Lelit home espresso machine in this guide has the LCC. It is one of the key reasons to choose Lelit over comparably priced alternatives.
