The Pop Up is a compact single-boiler machine with genuine pressure profiling — a profiling valve lets you shape brewing pressure from pre-infusion right through to the final pour, rather than leaving you with one fixed curve. PID temperature control keeps shots consistent, and the insulated 0.45L brass boiler is built for both thermal stability and energy efficiency. Its vibration pump runs noticeably quieter than a typical home machine, and an integrated shot timer gives you real-time feedback on extraction.

What does the pressure profiling valve actually do?

It lets you shape brewing pressure across the shot — from pre-infusion through to the final pour — rather than pulling every shot at one fixed pressure, giving you more control over the finished cup.

Is the grinder on-demand or does it have a hopper timer?

The Precision GSP is on-demand — you press and hold the button to grind exactly as much as you need, rather than relying on a timed dose.

Which coffee bean blend should I choose?

It depends on your taste — Elements is a balanced medium roast, After Dark is a bold dark roast, and Sydney Road and By The Bay are both lighter, brighter roasts. If you're not sure, Elements is a safe everyday starting point.
