The Isomac Zaffiro Due is a stainless, Italian-made single-boiler machine with an E61 group, built for the espresso drinker who still wants the odd latte.

The Isomac Zaffiro Due is a single-boiler espresso machine with a 0.7 litre copper boiler and an E61 group. You switch the boiler between brewing and steaming rather than doing both at once, which keeps the machine simple and the price down.

A dual-function wand pours both steam and hot water, and a 3 litre internal tank feeds a vibration pump, so there's no plumbing. The brushed stainless body is classic Isomac and easy for our technicians to service.

How a Single Boiler Works

The Zaffiro Due has one boiler that does one job at a time. You brew at espresso temperature, then switch the boiler up to steam temperature for milk.

  • Brewing and steaming happen in sequence, not at once, so there's a short wait to switch between them.
  • A single boiler keeps the machine simpler and cheaper than a heat exchanger or dual boiler.
  • The dual-function wand covers both steam and hot water from the one boiler.
